The time has come to narrow our audience as much as possible. To that end, we discuss one of the Saturn's greatest games, which of course has never seen an English release by any other means.
It's not what he's eating, but what's eating him that makes it ... sort of interesting.

We were saddened as well. It would have been nice to have someone break up the monotonous wall of Mike's we had on.

Just a simple side-effect of how popular, and thus cool, the name is.
So where are all the Saturn owners? It's your time to stand proud!

I think all the mikes on staff should fight to death to see who the real one is. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!!

Haven't played Dragon Force, but I do own a Saturn. Fun little system. Emulation IS improving with the unit though, thanks to Japanese emulator authors going whole hog, similar to the PC-Engine family and Ootake. For Saturn, SSF has been shaping up fine.

No one's even attempted to answer the question. It seems our Saturn base is even smaller than I had thought.

Sadly, real life does not follow the One Steve Limit rule.

So is that PC Pit Stop or PC Bit Stop?

    Cuz Bit Stop's better.

PC Pit Stop. Most of the show segments are named after racing such as "The Final Lap" "Mikes Import Corner", etc. Why? Cuz it's RPG Back TRACK. Get it? Yah. It's lame...but it's da way we roll!

Here's a question for the panel for the Ys Backtrack - as someone who's never played a game n the series, what do you as a panel consider the most accessible Ys game?

From everything I've heard thus far, 7. Just from what I've heard. :D

Well, none of them are really inaccessible. It's not like they ever get complex to the point of needing large scale instruction or a deep knowledge of the previous games. There are references, but for the most part, each game is a self-contained story.

Since I won't be on the 'cast, I vote Arc of Napishtim on PS2. Don't get the PSP version. I'm sure the Backtrackers can explain why ^.^

Great backtrack, lot of great memories!
Ah Stonekeeper did like that game a lot back at the time did finish it. Was great that the final boss you have two ways to beat it, once the traditional way, very hard cause he hurt you a lot! An other less traditional but with no fight, you have to laid a trap, but I keep the details! A great memory I got from this game too was in the fairy city if I remember right, there was a troop of singing fairy-goblin, not sure anymore that you were giving them different type of mushroom and the sang different tale like a remake of the song from the Wizard of Oz. I still sing that version over the original when I heard it LOL

Dragon force was indeed a great game I think I did finish it more than once too, well there was an other lady you could pick, the dark knight was in fact a woman, that was the first one that I try.

Y's lot of greats times with those too, the first did play it on the sega master system. Then we got the 3rd on the Snes and the Genesis and both versions were different! I think it was the Genesis one that was harder, but both with the same story with bit of difference but so different at the same time. Arc of Napishtim is still on my backlog like y's book 1 and 2 on my Wii.

Can't wait to listen to you again! Thanks!
Always enjoy all the experience in life, you might gain a level or two.
