This E3 trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution starts to delve into the crazy conspiracy-laden world of augmented humanity. It looks like Adam Jensen is up against some powerful, secretive enemies as he works to avenge an attack on his boss.

This is shaping up very nicely. I'm interested.
What I have seen and done to achieve my position defies belief. What I am capable of and will be party to in order to retain it would chill your soul.

That looks pretty amazing; let's hope that Human Revolution is more than just pretty trailers.

    *drools*

I haven't played the original yet, but apparently there's some subtle references to the first game in the trailer.
So long & thanks for all the fish!

I completely love these trailers and hope Deus Ex 3 will be as good as Deus Ex 1.

It may be as good, but it won't be the same; perhaps the mediocrity of Deus Ex 2 was a good circuit breaker to temper fan expectations?

Oh, you superfans. For me, DEHR is making the changes I wanted so that I could enjoy Deus Ex 1. There's no more weapon skill, so you don't have to worry about missing every sniper shot at the beginning of the game because you couldn't get a high enough skill yet (I'm all for skill based RPG combat systems, but only in turn-based games, thanks). The AI has been improved, so you can break cover, then return to cover and the AI doesn't magically know where you've gone when you've moved, only your last known location. And it's pretty. Really really pretty.

I'm very much looking forward to it. :)
