Free domestic shipping is new. It used to be overpriced shipping.

I know publishers don't want to ruin their relationships with the stores that sell their goods, but I wonder if the gaming market has finally gotten so crowded that the smaller guys will be saying "screw it" more and more, offering their games through their own online stores at competitive prices. Usually the free shipping keeps me on Amazon, but I'd rather buy directly from publishers if the price is the same.
The lesson here is that dreams inevitably lead to hideous implosions.
