Wield a Golden Controller with Skyward Sword

It may not exactly be the same thing as holding the Master Sword in your own hand, but a Wii Remote worthy of being used by the royalty of Hyrule is still pretty cool. Learn how you can get one here.

This is a big deal for Nintendo, right? I don't recall them having freebies and tempting LEs before. Pokemon games have come with figures, but their prices were so marked up it didn't feel like much of a freebie. If I weren't completely Zelda-ed out I'd be all over this for the anniversary CD, and if I were 15 years younger I'd be begging for the LE for Christmas. Hopefully this is something Nintendo will keep doing.
The lesson here is that dreams inevitably lead to hideous implosions.

I already have two controllers - not interested in a third.

The gold disc and gold packaging are nice though. Everyone gets those.

Keep in mind that the controller is a Wii Remote Plus, which means that if you don't already have a WiiMotion Plus accessory, this version solves that problem. I'm going to be getting it for that very reason (plus it looks awesome).

They've been packing in Wii Remote Plus or Wii Motion Plus with pretty much every game that needs Motion Plus. However, the special color controller is new.

I'm in need of a Motion Plus add-on, not sure if I'll bite for this or just grab the standard Motion Plus dongle. I've already got 3 WiiMotes though and I couldn't tell you the last time I played a game on my Wii with more than 2 people.

It's a shame we don't get gold cartridges any more :(
So long & thanks for all the fish!

I've been waiting on Zelda Wii for my second Motion Plus controller, so I'm all set to get this package.

Well, I'll finally have something that goes with my classic controller that came with Goldeneye 007. Not that color-coordinating Wii controllers is a huge deal or anything, but it's nice if ya' can....

Nice but sheesh, that price. Feels like buying N64 games.
