Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge [XBLA] for 1 point. Easily my favourite of the two, love the ending. :) Now to find copies of 3 and 4 on PC and see what I can do about completing the series.

Also DUMB question. HD Collections when a game is beaten from it: 1 point, .5? Wonderful if it's worth the effort or not on this last stretch.

Per the Monkey Island rule, I imagine they'd be a full point. Commander Keen is only 0.16 of a point because of how ridiculously short it is. A game like Ratchet and Clank or Sly Cooper is probably more than 10 hours each anyway.

I have 4 on my PS2... (Escape from Monkey Island)

I've been naughty this week and played all new games :( I actually got through basically everything I wanted to in my backlog (with the exception of the PS3 stuff I can't do since it's in Madison), so I feel really satisfied with how this turned out and I'm pretty stoked to get on my PS3 backlog.

Haha! I did the same on Bioshock Infinite. It's been staring at me, begging to be played so I finally caved. I felt it was well earned after powering through other stuff. It is earned, kazriko!

I've completely lost focus on the metagame, as I got my new PC this week. I was enjoying working through the endgame on Final Fantasy XIII, but now I'm not sure when I'll get back to it. I'm impressed with how much folks have cleared out though. Do we have a count of how many game this idea of frozen's helped clear out of our backlogs?

I'm sad to say that Fire Emblem really destroyed any hope of me playing enough games to compete. In fact, even though I beat it all I can think about it jumping back in to get more supports.

I might have said it before, but this little contest really showed me why my backlog is the way it is. :| I'm bad at this beating games thing.

I'll get a count of total games beaten tonight when I get home from work.

Myself, I only have a bunch of DLC of other games (Skyrim, ME3, and Borderlands 2), Fez, Penny Arcade 3, and a Co-op games that I can't play without my partner. So I feel really good about what I knocked out here. PA3 and Fez should have been done already, but this week has completely sucked for me and I wasn't able to put and time into anything. That and Soren bought Tomb Raider for me to reward me for kicking the crap out of my backlog.

But yeah, I'm mostly happy with how things went with this little contest! I'll have winners posted tonight!

Huge thank you to FrozenBablyon for running such a great and frantic event! I honestly can say that was a ton of fun and it helped me (and I'm sure others) make some dents in their backlogs. Hopefully this event will get ran again, because I know I still have another 90ish games sitting and waiting to be completed. :P

I'm so glad that everybody enjoyed it! Sorry about not updating yet, I was sick over the weekend and only really played Tomb Raider. Haha. I'll finish this up tonight and get everything up once I get home from work!

And I plan on running this every year from here on out. Regardless of if I have a backlog myself or not!

I'm just so happy that it went so well!

So, April is annual backlog month? Yeah, that works. April and May are usually light months anyway, and by June you're in E3 and looking ahead to new games.

I did so poorly. I was hoping to get all of my RPGs beaten before I picked up Riptide, maybe even finish off some RPGs I haven't gotten back to (still haven't finished Vesperia or Skyrim). Instead all I got done was Spartan Ops and that wasn't much fun at all. Oh, well. At least I got to level up a Monk in WoW.

    Hooray for future incarnations!

It was definitely a lot of fun. Petered out a bit at the end through unwise game choices but still managed to knock out a bunch of stuff overall. Thanks for running it FB.

I'm definitely down in doing this again. I know I have about 10 PS3 games waiting for me at Chris', and while I'll slug through some this year, it's nice to know if I don't I can set aside a specific time to do so.

Aww, so close... Should have finished the other commander keen series and tied it up. :) But... Bioshock infinite is worth it.

Good job Nyx, and thanks to FB for running the contest. It was an interesting way to look at gaming for me, even though it did distract me from a couple games I wanted to work on.

Not going to lie, I wasn't expecting to dominate both... I figured kazriko had me in the metagame. Seriously though, you're all awesome competitors and thank you so much for running this again. <3
