Hmm, Jumes' visual aide helped me decide on this one. While I adore the job system in Bravely Default, when it comes down to the nitty gritty of individual battles, Grandia II presented more strategic opportunities.

    Vote: Grandia II

Looks like we may have an unanimous decision on our hands. That's gotta sting for the BD fans.

    I can't say I saw this being a landslide.

Grandia 2 while I like Bravely Default's combat, Brave and Default aren't enough to overturn the awesomeness that is Grandia 2's system. From cancelling attacks to managing the circle to make sure your characters can manage the enemies attacks, this system is really top notch and it's all been said before.

A landslide indeed. It's still cool that Bravely Default, a game less than a year old, (in the west anyway) made it to the quarter finals.

    Well done, Grandia II!

At this point, I don't think any vote should sting. As I said, I love both games' battle systems, but had to pick one. It's all going to be tough battles from here on out.

Mm-hm. Reader poll kept to the early trend, and we have the first sweep in a very long time.

It's not what he's eating, but what's eating him that makes it ... sort of interesting.
