Was born, did some things, discovered dark magic to extend life beyond normal human means, pet a kitten.
Season 10- last good season confirmed. After the self-aware Land of Jockey episode, I stopped watching.
The correct answer for which stage has the best music in Rez is level 5- Fear. It's still on my playlist.
I've actually only played FFXV Mo…
Good talks this week. Wall of text incoming! Question at the end.
Shining Force- simple world exploration, but streamlined! I could go for more detailed exploration, however. If they did manage to bring back SFIV via Camelot, then I'd hope they'd…
I've never played any of the Metal games, but you had me at Mothership Saurus. We need more games with dinosaurs. Dinosaurs are awesome. Good to hear they're planning a western loc. If they are able to push it to the Switch (digital-only even) then …

Filtering the art is fine as a quick-and-dirty method of creating higher resolution sprites and tiles, but they only went halfway and don't filter the edges of the tiles where they meet. All these blended, soft filtered map tiles…
I would be pleasantly surprised if this got a western release since the series havs't been released outside Japan, plus it seems pretty niche compared to other games. Then again there's always Xseed or NISA if they're looking to outsource the loc. :)
It's not a crazy idea (that Nintendo would offer to publish it). However, it will only happen depending on if they see the PS4 and PC pre-order/pre-sales numbers ((or most likely Switch numbers whenever that happens, and assuming the 3DS is still be…
Wow, that's unexpected. I know they said they wanted to release all games on Windows, but XBOne Origin? I wonder if this is a sign that there's more to come. I love that the Ys series is getting more attention this decade. I really hope more people …
I'm not a big DQ fan, and there are some issues design-wise, but I do like the Toriyama style and the NES-like sound effects design. I can understand how this would appeal to the DQ fans since it looks to be a continuation of the orig. trig., but I …
Kind of a late response, but throwing by 2 cents in as well. I'm inclined to agree- I look forward to the change and it sounds exciting. That said, I hope the site performs well and will hopefully be around to see it through another 10+ years (lurki…

WTF @ the other two games though.
Zanki Zero... the nude clones and the shibari artist... yeah I'm not sure either, but I'll give it a chance.
And 428? Apparently it was popular enough in Japan do merit a release here.…
I watched the live stream on twitch. Hearing from the developers was great. I'm not a huge fan of these games, but I may end up picking them up. Spike Chunsoft should definitely do more of these community press conference style events.

This. How can we evaluate it when it's still being changed dramatically?
Indeed. Hell, just comparing it from the original release, it's c…
Still going to wait until Kingdom Hearts 3, Ni No Kuni 2, and FF7 Remake releases, but my current list would be-
2. Xenoblade Chronicles
3. Bravely Default
4. Witcher 3
5. The Last Story
2. Cosmic Star He…

Given the similar style it probably didn't have much more of a budget than Adventures of Mana (and I image it was the same team).
That's actually the first I've heard about the re-remake of Adventures! I'm both surprised and e…
I usually get caught up in exploration, but it really depends how enjoyable the overall gameplay is. Likewise, I'm all for a great story and interesting characters, but if it's not compelling, it's hard for me to get into it.
Therefore, I'm going t…
I always wanted to finish Ys I and II. I did eventually (10 years later), but it wasn't until I noticed that I was not actually equipping weapons and armor when I first played it. I just assumed that as soon as the items entered by inventory, they w…
I feel like a lot of the complaints are coming from people who are looking at the FF7 Remake and holding the SoM remake to the same standard.
I haven't played it yet, but what I’ve seen from trailers and screenshots, it doesn’t look like the grap…

To be fair this isn't the worst port of Chrono Trigger to ever exist. I remember the PS1 Verison being horrible with it's load times, but the graphics update for the IOS port are pretty Moo, and unwarranted. They should of jus…
