Well since nobody else has posted it yet, I figured I would.

It almost makes me think we'll be getting either a sequel to SoTN, or quite possibly a 3D SoTN.

I think the internet would explode if it was hi-res 2D. We're sure that's Alucard though, right?

The CG doesn't look terribly impressive. I do want to know more about this game, though.

The CG looks so outdated that I imagine it's been designed to look that way on purpose. Why? Who knows.

Not entirely sure that's meant to be Alucard.
Without more info I'll reserve judgment.

I can't imagine fathom a reason why myself. It really does look dated. The only thing I can think of was because they had some stylistic reason for doing so.

They may be going for a Kaneko sort of style.

They pooped all over III with Curse of Darkness so I hope they do the same for SotN with this! devil.gif

You know, I don't get why everyone hated Curse and Lament so much. I rather enjoyed the two games. That said, though, the Metroidvania style is really stale. I really hope they do something else.

I see you're contributing to the discussion in a positive manner there, FB. Thank you for your insight. Please don't spam the forums anymore, no one likes that.

Now back to topic. I've heard people talking about how it might be a Devil May Cry type of game. Personally, I think that has all sorts of potential to go wrong, but if it could be pulled off without feeling like a rote copy of Dante's adventures.

I see you're as anal as ever. Fantastic. Welcome back /sarcasm.

Anyway, If Davis can say something like he did. I don't see why there's a problem with what I said.

    But hey, Whatever.

The defense of SotN can be done in a manner that doesn't resort to belittling or tired internet memes, first off. Second, I rather liked SotN, but believe the formula is overused. However, since the topic has been derailed hopelessly, I am locking the thread.
