I'm not answering for LordBrian, but I think this is one of those situations where you don't ask us, WE ASK YOU.

That is THE suck-upiest thing I have ever heard.
I could have sworn you capitalized and punctuated more often than that, though.

I agree, you could at the VERY LEAST try to suck up in a less obvious manner. sarcasm.gif

One other thing, you'll NEVER be a moderator if you fail to make any sense...

I chose mods based on a number of qualifications, but the biggest ones were these:

    1) How much respect both I and the rest of the staff had for the members

    2) How coherent their posts were

    3) What sort of mood I was in at the time, and

    4) How active the members were, more or less.

We're not planning on making any new mods at the moment, though. And as Kami said, this is something we ask if you want to do, not something that you can request to be.

I don't think he was asking to be one, I think he was asking what the criteria are for being chosen. I don't see what the problem would be with sharing that information.

I don't understand why people actually WANT to be a moderator. Can you imagine the number of tasks you have to perform? As for me, being a mod is the last thing I want.

    I agree with Seraphic.

With great power comes great responsibility (who said that). I don't want the responsibility at boards like these.
