Permanent Posts?

I have noticed that there are a couple of questions that pop up incessantly on the console games board. ?Most notably are the 'is Zelda and RPG' and the 'what is an RPG' questions. ?Is it possible to keep these as permanent posts in the forum? ?And not just as permanent post, but always at the top of the list of posts? ?That way everyone can come in and give their two cents worth, then move on to other topics without re-answering the question every couple of months. ?I can see a couple of possible problems; such as the inevitable chatter answers where a couple of members start their own mini-chatroom around the topic, and also the volume problem where you end up with a thirty page topic that no one will bother with. ?Those problems aside, this is something you moderator folx could (and imho should) take a look at just for fun.

It can be done, but it is usually reserved for things like the forum rules and news, and anything else the Adims deem worthy enough. Having that for things like "Is Zelda an RPG?" would just end up with a topic taking up space on the front page that nobody has replied to for a month.

Sin is right, we can pin a topic and leave it on the top. But, topics like "Is Zelda an RPG?" are hardly worth pinning, and will just clutter the forum.
