    Despite being so familiar with the lore and setting of shadow run, I have never actually played a table top run of it. I remember being a teen and asking the owner of a game shop about the books, and he was like, this version has more rules and subsystems than you believe. He explained the movement system, and I never got into it. Maybe the rules are easier these days. Maybe not.

    Slightly easier. But us still subsystem on top of sybsistem with each character being proficient in one or two.

    I tried to sell my SO on trying out Shadowrun, but their group is currently running... a Degenesis campaign right now I think? I think they're debating trying Numenara's PnP form prior to Torment's launch. I mostly know Shadowrun from the old games and the books myself.

    Same here. I read quite a few of the novels back in high school. The one game I was going to play of it ended up never happening.
