Welcome to RPGamer's new forums running under Vanilla Forums! If you're run into any odd or strange issues after our software migration please see this thread
This may not be a wise move...
Now, I would like to make one thing very clear. I am not trying to start any kind of trouble at all; although, I realize that by making this post, I am 'asking for it' in a sense. I honestly expect some nasty responses, but I am hoping for a few productive ones.
Here is my predicament.
I had posted a question concerning FF7 in the game help forum and the the Final Fantasy Forum. I'm kind of stuck in a spot in the game, so it is desired to get this message across to as many people as I can as quickly as possible. By doing so, I would recieve a response in a much shorter time. That is a simple matter of common sense, correct? In the rules, it is not said anywhere that posting the same statement in multiple forums was against the rules, so I had thought it was alright. The only thing that suggested such was the rule saying to use common sense, so I did. I didn't just post the question everywhere. I posted it in related forums. I wasn't just posting the question everywhere in a ridiculous manner that could be considered spamming or innapropriate. I simply put a short, to-the-point question in two of the many forums supplied here at RPGamer.com. Despite my attempts to do everything by the book, Kamikaze locked up the thread. I'm not trying to say that Kamikaze was in any way rude or mallevolent, he was rather actually polite about what he did. The only thing that I can infer about his action was that he has a more strict state of mind concerning the content of the forums.
Now, if I may be so bold as to make a request. May I be given a proper reason why my thread was locked and be priveliged with some explanation of how this action is justified. I would like to hope that the members of RPGamer.com are treated badly without an explanation. Yes, I do feel like I was treated poorly and I don't blush when I say it. I can accept this treatment if I am given a proper explanation and I won't say another word. I am a person that is at the fancy of logic, and I am sure that this post will meet logical eyes and recieve a logical post.
Thank you for your time.
