Apparently Goku is vulnerable to bank robbers and can fly for only a few seconds before getting tired. That's one way to make him less intimidating, I suppose.

    To be fair, the later entries in the series are pretty decent. But yeah, the first game is really bad. Really, really bad.

    I played the second one back in the day and I recall it not being too awful. There was a lot of fighting wildlife for no good reason in that one too but I didn't really care. I was there to slap around things with my fists and blow gigantic holes in things with the power of "because I want to".
