The relationship between the main characters is great.
And you've answered your own question about how it ended up in the list for best story.
I wasn't the one who asked the original question. No…

Please. I haven't gotten through FFXV and I doubt the sotry will be all that, but even the first few chapters I've gotten through show much better narrative execution than anything in FFXII.

I didn't like (and didn't finish) the demos. Yet I have 60 hours in this game and am enjoying it. In the demos, Noctis seemed to get drained of energy very easily, meaning he was always looking for a place to hide. He's stronger here, so it's less f…
I want to say Chrono Trigger, but I think Phanasty Star on the Genesis might have been the first one I actually played.
Chrono Trigger was the one that made me say: "More like this, please!"
Checked on Amazon. Blue Ray is available Oct. 4th, and if I read the blurb correctly, streaming is already available. So if you can't get to your local limited-release theater, or if (like me) you don't want to go after 10:30 p.m., it's legally avai…

So I am assuming that since I only bought it on Steam like a year ago, there really is not much of a point to buy it again with no new content.
That's why I asked about trophies. I've probably played this 20 times on PS3 …
I also have to go with "depends."
There are RPGs like the Last Remnant, the original Valkyria Chronicles, FF VII/VIII/X, and Resonance of Fate that I've played over and over, sometimes on multiple platforms. Lost Dimension was a recent RPG I felt…
Wow, they went through player tests (a couple of which I briefly participated in) and everything! I have to agree, though; when I was in the test, it wasn't fun. Apart from claiming land, there didn't seem to be much to do.
Aaaaaand... the "Stella" vs. "Luna" question was the same one I had. If they're one and the same, then it would be more accurate to say Stella has been rebranded rather than that Luna is new :)

I understand why the school setting works for Persona, though. It's a lot easier to make the kind of casual-acquaintence-to-close-friend social connections that work for the game's sim elements when you're in school than it is afte…

I'm getting it. I got th e special edition one from Square preordered.
So do I! And like another poster, I now have a big-screen TV that I'm really looking forward to playing it on. I may even frame those lithographs th…
I enjoyed this game, and was considering replaying it.
I think the reason Twilight of the Spirits was forgotten may be the abysmal sequel. I forget what it was called, but it was almost unplayable.
Although I enjoyed most of the game, I hate the forced grouping during certain points in the storyline. I made it to level 35, had to fight Titan next, and realized I really just didn't want to do another dungeon with a pick-up group. So that was it…
The two games that I've spent the most time playing are both underrated RPGs: The Last Remnant and Resonance of Fate. Both featured unusual game mechanics that took a while to figure out. I've spent hundreds of hours on each of them.
A strategy R…
I seem to be in the minority. I liked Kaiden. I missed him badly in ME2. He and Garrus were in my f!Shepard party as much as possible. I didn't (and don't) like Wrex; if I'd known when I played the game the first time that ignoring him was a death s…
