On Monday morning when people talk to me about the night out they had on Saturday in incredible depth...I might seem mean here but THEY don't care what I did over the weekend! Raaar its every week so annoying!
The romances were a great little feature in BG2. There weren't any in BG1, there wasn't any proper inter-party banter or sidequests either.
Go with both definitley. BG2 is a richer experience for having played BG1
The best thing about KOTOR is the story, and the dialogue, are extremely well written, not something you get in conventional games by any means.
Plus, its a great game. The system is basically the same as BG2, you can't help noticing the similari…
One of the best RPGs I've ever played. Probably the game I've played most.
I'm thinking of installing both with all mods and expansion pack and playing it all the way through one day. That'd take years!

There is a full preview somewhere on the internet. After reading it I was salivating
RPGs are just as good the second time round. You have a kind of strategy for what skills to use etc, how to develop your character...
I'm revisiting Knights of the Old Republic in between bouts of Deus Ex: Invisible War and Gladius. Good times
...I like the characters in FF8!
**runs and hides**
What is it about them that people didn't like? I'm not sure I see much difference between them and other generic FF characters...
Yeah there's always a danger when you give the hero a voice that it'll be some whiney irritating voice actor who'll just make me wanna turn the game off.
Emotions and characters are the main reasons for me. Story is incredibly important, but without good characters and well-thought out relationships between them, the game isn't nearly as compelling.
- In towns, all people do is stand in the same spot ALL THE TIME, never moving anywhere else
- It is quite feasible for a beginning character to walk out into the wilderness and have the #### kicked out of him by a team of butterflies or rabbits …
There are SOME Xbox RPGs, but there aren't many good ones. I managed to pick up a cheapo copy of Gladius the other day and that's a really fun strategy/RPG hybrid. Recommended
